Bilstein 33-187297 2" Lift Front Shock Absorber for Ford F250 F350 Super Duty - Off-Road & Towing Performance Upgrade

Hello Guys, First off let me say that these shipped and arrived VERY quickly...didn't expect that from FREE Shipping lol. Not only that the packaging from them was on key...they even put a box in there just to fill the space (see picture). Okay as for the product it seemed to be 2x the product that my previous shock was. I dont know what brand they are as they were the ones that came with truck when I bought it used. Now lets talk about what the shock was installed on so you have a good idea if it will work for you. I have a Old 2004 Ford F350 4 Wheel Drive with a Front Leveling Kit. MOST leveling kits are on average .5" to 2" from what Im told. I think mine is more in the 2" range. I also have 35" MT tires on my truck as well (see pic). Pictures are also included of the old shock installed so you can get an idea as to what I have. No springs just leafs. When I took off old I went ahead and laid the new ones next to it and they are a VERY close match in size..if not the same size/set up. Now install was pretty easy and painless. NOW REMEMBER on the front, YOUR DUST COVER/BOOT GOES DOWN!!!! Most feel that this would go UP but on this shock and it going on the front it goes DOWN!!! If you buy the 5100 Series for the back (under bed) 24-186025 the dust cover/boot will go UP!!!! I noticed the easiest way to install was attach the BOTTOM of the shock first, put in your bolt and hand tighten you nut. From there take both hands and get under fender well and push down with both hands until you compress it PAST the TOP shock mount, this way you have time to move back and guide it in as it un-compresses. I had no issues mounting these. In fact from start to finish (taking off them big heavy 35" wheels/tires, removing old shocks, putting new ones on and re-installing tires.. I was done in about 1 hour.Now we drove it last night and it seemed like a good ride. You have to understand I have a F350 (1 ton) 4 Wheel Drive truck ...there is really nothing smooth about these heavy duty trucks, especially when you raise them some, and put big 35" MT tires on them. So while its a little bit of a rough riding truck to start, these did help some. Im sure you would nice more of the Bilstein quality ride in a smaller truck.Guys I hope this guided you down the right road...as for me I love the Price of them here with this seller (cheapest I found anywhere) and got free shipping!! Quality of the shocks seem very very very GOOD and must be almost 2x as heavy as my old shocks I removed lol. I hope the pictures I have uploaded shows up (5 pics) on this review.
