We use these for both cats and our miniature dachshund. We actually started buying them for the dachshund first. He's only 9 pound so he's a little guy with not a ton of hair so I worry about things bothering his skin. Since he walks with a harness we didn't need a collar we could hook a leash to so these seemed perfect. And they are! I love them for both the dogs and cats. Super duper soft, the neoprene makes them stretchy so the cat's can escape them if caught on something, but the velcro keeps them very secure. The only downside is that they do wear out and get frayed and ratty looking, but that's after over a year plus of wear which seems good for the price. I'm happy to change them out as needed and do just that. I love all of the designs although I do with they offered solid colors as well.
