We really liked the way this unit worked, we were really getting results in training with the dogs. Until the day we lost power! Then the collars started shocking the dogs and it was total chaos getting colors off of three dogs that were surely in agony. I’ll never put another one of these collars on my dog again. It might work with an uninterrupted power supply. Don’t leave them On your dogs unsupervised, and take them off before driving away from the base perimeter.After using this for several months,, I can say this is crap. This unit is inconsistent. One minute it beeps at my dog ten feet away and another minute my dog is 200 feet away and it hasn't beeped.Whenever I use this, I always make sure to have another manual remote training collar to call the dog back if this unit fails to work properly. What's the point?Nice for the price! Should of got one a long time agoThe fence is working pretty good, but would be best if I could manage the level of warning to my specific needs. I have three dogs. One is completely responding to the warning and knows to return to me when at the boundary. One know how it works and responds to the boundary, but will run past the shock if severely provoked. And one who just ignores it to do what she wants.Play at all this work I still cannot figure out how to install the instruction is not very clearIt is great for 2 of my dogs but it came with 1 collar that's goes on the strap would never charge. I Asked if we could just trade my that never worked for 1 that does. No response. It's what I expected thatEasy to install. Battery life was decent but after four months of use they stopped working and I couldn’t return them. The collars would start out the day seeming to work great then my dogs would just walk over the boundary without being shocked. I would check the collar and it would be off and wouldn’t turn back on. Complete garbage. I wish I would have spent money on better quality collars from the start.Ridiculous product! It doesn't have a way to change the voltage of shock delivered so my small dog gets the same shock that my large dog gets. I put it on my dog after I found the range, so I could show her where her limits were, we started next to the receiver, took 5 steps and it shocked her. She freaked out, naturally, and she ran back inside where the receiver was and IT KEPT SHOCKING HER. If I could give it no stars I would.
