I am preparing for how cold it will be in the next few months with my hubbynew puppy we adopted named Darla. We found a few things on Amazon and this jacket was one of them. I was surprised at how great the quality was and how great it looked on her. I would definitely recommend.Perfect for this winter. Really nice! Buckles and zippers . He can step into it after unzip it completely, makes it easier on both of us. Puffy jacket for him. Adjustable neck area.This dog jacket is really good. Very good and thoughtful design. Dog loves it. The only issue is a cheap zipper (that's why 4 stars). I do have another dog jacket, not as good as this one, but with much better zipper.He's a male boxer that just turned a year old when I ordered the jacket. I had bought him an 3XL that fits his 28" around his chest. We live in the desert of AZ so the jacket is only really needed for a couple 3 months, and since he's still growing it will pretty much only be worn for this one winter. But, at least 'til then, it will keep him warm during our morning and evening walks and/or hikes. Not to mention how stylish he looks! ??I baught this for my healthy 100lb European Red Doberman Pinscher (she looks just like the one in the picture) and got the biggest size even after looking at the size chart. It barely fits / almost too tight. Definitely can't wear her work harness underneath. Otherwise, great coat!It took me a few times to figure out how to put on an excited wiggly dog but the little clasp at the nape of the neck is the trick to keeping it on while zipping up from the butt to neck along the back. Lay the coat on the floor and have dog step into arm holes(baited with a treat;) ). Love the built in harness. Perfect engineering and design. So much better than the ones I used in the past.We got the largest size for our 100lb dog. Just fits.The coat seems to be of high quality and warm. It’s a bit too snug for my dog. I’ll need to return it and get a size larger.My German Shepherd mix pup looked so good in this. He was warm, and comfy. I loved that the top zipped up all the way and that it had a place to put the leash with the outer hooks. Sadly though it did end up tearing, and came loose when he’d wear it. But it would be a good fit for dogs that are less active.
