When I dropped my little girl at the vet for her spay surgery, the vet suggested that I get something like this instead of a cone. Poppy weighs 10 pounds so I initially ordered XS. It fits, but is snug and hard to get on and off. So,I ordered a S as well. The S fits much better, but I am keeping the XS so we have an extra. She has not tried to mess with her incision at all. Potty breaks are easy thanks to the Velcro at the hind legs. She must be comfortable because she hasn’t tried to wiggle out of it. I definitely recommend this, and we will continue using this after she is fully recovered just to help keep her warm during winter.
