I bought these after searching for the best compression socks available online. I received the item as expected on the next day which Amazon is amazing for. Reminder I paid $25 for a pair of socks... So upon first inspection, the item felt very well made and you can obviously see the quality and care put into the manufacturing of said product. However after struggling to put on due to tight fit, I found they made my feet way too hot and sweaty even without shoes on...with would be unbearable IMO.MANUFACTURER & FABRIC - The box shows these were made in Switzerland of all places. The fabric is a 75/25 blend of Nylon and Spandex... which allows for an easy stretch but it had an odd synthetic feel on my foot and IMO this is NOT a sock that you can wear with shoes. It creates way to much heat and sweat on my feet to comfortably use anywhere except at night or while at home.STYLE - Pair came in a dark black with grey ribbed/dotted highlighted areas behind the calves and on the top of the ankle and foot. For a compression sock, it has a nice modern and athletic look that if you want to wear to the gym, u wouldn't look out of place.FIT & SIZE - I selected the LARGE as Amazon had a sizing chart which I cannot stress enough to carefully review and ACTUALLY measure your calf circumference. I guestimated and I was wrong leading to a very very tight fit the first attempt to put on. After actually measuring when these arrived I found I have a 17 inch calf and based on the sizing chart on the back of the box, it shows a LARGE should fit however IF YOUR CALF IS 17 INCH OR LARGER, I would highly RECOMMEND going with XL. Remember these are manufactured to provide compression to the lower leg so trying to stretch the opening to fit around my heel and calf was NOT EASY. Once on, making adjustments was nearly impossible as the fit was so close I could not grab any excess fabric to help pull the sock up to proper height.SUMMARY - I'm not thrilled with this purchase. Due to small size I'll need to get an exchange but this time I'll be requesting a refund. On smaller legs and feet this may be a great product but if you're like me and have athletic legs, the fit is just too tight and heavy for what I'm looking for.I'm on my feet all day and my calves and ankles are swollen by the end of my work day--so my doctor recommended compression socks. As a Prime Member I naturally went to Amazon to shop. I was shocked at the cost of this style of shock and didn't want to pay $30 for something I wasn't sure I would like. Plus I have a hard time finding socks that fit--I wear a size 6 ladies shoe--and most women's socks have a heel that ends up on my calf. So I filtered the selection of "seamless compression socks size small" by price and these Sock Doctor socks came up at $3 to $5. My expectations were not high because we all know--you get what you pay for--but I bought four pairs in different colors.All I can say is WOW! The socks arrived and as soon as I opened the box I knew I had gotten a great deal. The socks come in very high end boxed packaging. The sock quality is top notch and they fit! They ARE tight and it does take some skill to get them on--but worth the struggle. At the end of my work day my legs are not near as swollen or achey. These are great seamless compression socks!My only disappointment was that I immediately decided to order several more pairs for myself and as gifts--but the price had increased to almost $30.00 a pair in a matter of a couple of days! Yes...they are worth it. But l'll hold off until these wear out. ?Very nice socks. They are also the only compression socks I've worn where you can actually feel the compression. They're thick smooth material and the fabric is strong so it doesnt tear. What is nice about them is that they fit so tight you can easily fit another sock over them when it gets colder out so you can still wear them in the winter.Actually got these for my my husband who has occasional swelling due to a DVT and he says they are the best he’s ever worn. He’s purchased many over the years and some were quite expensive. Glad to have found these. High quality at great price.Socks arrived with security device still attached to them. Spent 30” trying to remove while not damaging them.Please remove this next time. Socks were damaged in the process.These work fantastic, I am a tall heavy person and need the compression socks for travel. This worked great, were just a little pricey compared to the new Copper Fit that are just as good ( the older copper fit are not as good)Thought I would hate them and didn’t, actually fairly comfortable.Ordered these for my husband. He bought a pr at a chain store & paid much more. When we saw the exact same ones on Amazon, we ordered another pr. He loves them! So comfortable & they stay up. We did order a sock remover because they are difficult to remove. You wont regret this purchase.El único detalle es la talla ya que el extragrande viene pequeño para la pierna de hombre. Los materiales son de muy buena calidad. Lo malo la diferencia tab grande de precios entre colores a escoger.Hasta ahora los mejores calcetines de compresion que he comprado, son caros peró... bueno...He probado muchas calcetas de comprensión y sin duda estas son mis favoritas. Mi caso es que tuve una operación de varices y las uso cuando hago ejercicio. Son mis favoritas, aprietan bien sin lastimar.
