We have had 2 of these bc we love the Hawkeyes but the buckle broke on both after a few months of wear and tear by our 9lb dog.These 2 I ordered were put on Boston terriers who wore down their last ones. They are made of quality materials. The loop to hook a leash onto is standard thickness, not weak looking.Bright vibrant pattern that has held up in murky lake water and several cleanings with detergent. Highly recommendThese are just plain cute . My dogs are real hit at the groomers everyone wants to know where I got them.We loved this collar for about 6 months. It’s thicker, which is what we preferred for our dog. Great material and color. Our dog has a tendency to tug on his leash, especially for squirrels and leaves. After about two months, our dog ran out for a bird and he tugged on the collar. It popped right off of him. He came right to me thankfully. This did not happen again for another few months and after that it happened more and more frequently. He is typically not skiddish but the last straw was when it popped open at night and he ran out in front of a car multiple times. Thankfully my neighbor saw me waving my arms to signal something was wrong. It’s a cute idea for a collar, but I would not trust this as a collar to support a leash that gets tugged a lot.It was thicker than I thought, but still cute.Really like the look of this collar and it has held up very well. I was worried about it dyeing our dog blue or orange since he is mostly white, but it has not bled at all even with him swimming in the collar. Knocked one star off because it does slowly loosen up and we have to tighten in every so often otherwise he can slip out of his collar.Roll Tide, Marshall! He loves his Alabama collar! It is good quality, nice thickness and rich colors. And it stays on.
