This attractive coat fits my medium-sized Bull Mastiff perfectly, which was my first consideration. His muscular, long body is fully covered, and the coat is easy to put on/off. I previously bought a jacket with more design features, but he refused to put his big paws into the front sleeves, and his back was half covered, regardless of matching measurements.The Dogcheer coat comes with back straps, which aren't difficult to slip on, pulling them to the floor, and slightly lifting the paw, the straps stretch high on the legs, leaving space for nature's call, no problem. Omitting the back straps results in a sliding back (for short haired dogs, a thick fur might hold the garment in place.)Choosing a well fitting jacket is time consuming, because designs, sizes, and options vary by manufacturer, and finding a perfect match for your dog isn't easy, because dogs also vary in size and breed. My choice of Dogcheer makes my boy comfortable, keeps him toasty warm and dry, goes on/off his large body easily, and we're both happy with this coat. An important note is the beautiful color combination which lights up his light red fur. Absolutely handsome!
