My son really likes this heart guard. He says the shirt fits comfortably, and the heart guard part is good, too.He doesn't like wearing it under his catcher's gear, though--it's too tight. So, he only wears it to games when he won't be catching. He said it's not AWFUL under the catcher's gear, just not great.I've also noticed he doesn't "play" with it (stretching, flipping, folding) under his jersey as much as e does with the flat rectangular ones.I really wanted my son to like this because it was much less expensive than the Under Armor and the protector seems so much heavier - but he found it to be very uncomfortable. He said that the chest piece was irritating and dug into his skin. I think with such a hard, heavy piece on the front, they should have added a little extra fabric or soft padding to make it more comfortable.Since it can't protect him if he won't wear it, I had to send it back.Product arrived dirty! It also would have been nice if the sizing chart on the tag would have been included in info before purchase. Size YL is more like a XS. I realize it needs to be tight fitting but this is WAY to small. I have purchased other brands in past and was pleased. Should have stuck with what already worked rather than trying to save a few dollars!DurableThis was perfect for a petite girl playing baseball.
