I was hesitant to buy a anti bark collar for my dog because I didn't want it to change her behavior, she is a great dog but german shephards have a loud bark one which can easily wake up a baby.I used a shock collar one time on my dog and it put her into a 2 day anxiety filled panic. So I wasn't going to use a shock collar and the combination of high-pitched sound and vibration sounded good.The beeping sound INSTANTLY stopped the dog from barking, and only gave her a minor scare too. I have yet to see her get to the vibration stage.The device itself works good, however the reason it only gets 3 stars is because the collar it comes with and attaches to is cheap, it constantly needs to be tightened and has even fallen twice now.Firstly, don't do what I did and start taking the screws off the back to insert that batteries, The batteries go in front, just remove the colored paw and pull back the strap.We have a really cool dog that just really loves to bark at birds, the wind, people on the road, cars driving by, etc, and he gets really into it and doesn't listen to us when we ask him to stop. We have purchased something like this in the past that is controlled via remote, but that was annoying because you had to push the button on the remote and most of the time it didn't work. This has a sound sensor and it makes a noise and vibrates automatically.A cool thing is that it intensifies the beep and vibration the longer he barks. I think the first 2 or 3 times it just makes a noise and doesn't start vibrating until like the 4th time. He stops barking at the first level though so I don't think it has even vibrated on him yet. The chart describing this is right on the box. So far, it only takes him one ding to stop though.Long story short, very happy with this. We don't keep it on him all the time, we only put it on him during times we let him out that he is known to bark.I have tried several different bark collars in attempt to stop my dog from barking at things we don’t want them to. I had never tried one that omitted sound and vibration as a deterrent, and really wasn’t sure how my dog would react. Works like a charm! The first couple of barks are met with a beeping sound and then it gradually escalates into a longer beep and vibration. The very first time the collar vibrated, my dog immediately stopped barking and laid down and did not continue to bark for as long as he was wearing the collar. After removing the collar, he started to bark again. I pressed the volume button on the side of the collar, which results in a beeping sound. My dog immediately stopped barking in anticipation of the collar being put back on him. I would highly recommend this bark collar to anyone struggling with keeping their dog from barking!I have three small dogs and two of them are quite the barkers. They are all small dogs in the 6-8lb range. I've been using the collar on the two instigators, the ones pictured here. I'm very pleased with the results s the collar is definitely helping with training. I initially planned to buy at least one more, but so far the improvements have been enough by sharing the collar. I think this is an excellent training aid, just don't think you can stick it on your dog and forget about it.We have a 2 year old rescue who was abandoned as a puppy and resource guards.In the last few months he started demand barking at us. We tried several different methods a trainer to try to stop it but it wasn't working. Our trainer recommended we try a anti-bark collar. We didn't want to go the shock collar route and were so happy to find the Trust The Paw collar. It has made a huge difference. He has not gotten a full vibration yet, he barks and gets the first beep and stops. Even when he is not wearing it, he is conscious of his barking.We have had the collar almost a month and have not had to replace the battery. We had a minor issue with the strap and Trust the Paw quickly replaced it. An awesome product with amazing customer service!This worked well until it didn’t. After a couple months it would rarely vibrate when my dog barked. We changed the battery/adjusted the sensitivity to no avail.We have two smaller dogs that for the most part are pretty quiet but when they see other people walking dogs out front of our house they will get to barking. My husband and I both work from home full time and are on and off phone meetings all day long so when the dogs do bark its try to hit the mute button as fast as we can game. I have had a bark collar that lightly provides a shock when they bark and the two dogs are so terrified of that collar that when I put it on them they just shake so I never use it. This No Shock collar works wonders, its stops the barking and they don't shake. I just ordered one to try it out but will be ordering a second one so both dogs can wear it.This did exactly what I was hoping for! Not only did it stop my dog from barking at random noises, it helped to correct it with specific noises as well such as knocking and doorbell rings. She will still bark once but as soon as the tone sounds, she immediately stops. It's also helped to correct whining when I leave for work and such. Even when I don't have it on, I've noticed a decrease in barking and whining since we started using this. The only time I've noticed it not being effective is when there are other dogs around that are barking at "someone's here" and that is only if those dogs keep barking excessively themselves. That is actually the ONLY time she even gets the collar to trigger the 3rd level where it vibrates in addition to the tone.
