Dog broke back handle on harness, dog broke plastic connection on collar. Seems very comfortable for her to wear. She’s too strongBought this for our sons aging dog. He has chronic cough and a regular leash and neck collar were no longer an option. I got this harness and wow what a difference for his dog.The quality is solid and very easy to adjust. I highly recommend this one. We got the large for a 40 lb dog and it fit nicely. I debated between the medium and large glad we went with the bigger one.Came as described and early.I returned it only because it was too small and ordered the larger size. It was clearly exactly as advertised and very nicely constructed.Excellent harness comes with leash, handle to carry dog and really cool dog velcro tags. Not only is it an excellent value (you get the harness, agood quality and multifunctional leash, a great quality collar, but also 2 velcro stickers to indicate youhave a “dog in training” or a “service dog”), but the quality of the products is top notch. We have an8mo old Australian Cattle Dog who is nearly 70lbs. He is large and muscular, especially in the chest.Because of his size and strength, it is very important that we have a harness with a handle on it. I havehand issues that prevent me from using one that the handle is horizontal. I have to have a verticalhandle on the harness. This means we usually pay quite a bit for one, and since he is still growing, it getsexpensive! This harness (size Large), still provides room for growth, is padded on the top and bottom (Ifeel better about that, I don’t think my dog notices!), and meets our needs for safety with the handle.The leash is lightweight, but also very sturdy. It is designed so that it can be used in a variety of wayswith the harness and collar. the handle on the leash is padded as well, which is great for my hands! Thecollar is exactly same as the leash, same material and padding. It is not a traditional collar, but similar toa pricey one he currently wears. I really like this one better! I highly recommend the Rywell No PullDog Harness Set to any dog owner, but especially for ones that have more challenging dogs they aretraining. Great quality highly recommendedThis is a fairly typical harness, with a padded yoke under the chest and one on the back, connected by adjustable webbing straps. The two rear straps have plastic clips. There is plenty of adjustment in the straps using the buckles, and the very informative listing gives a guide to choosing the correct size. The tough black fabric looks smart and is enhanced by the prominent reflective lines and trim that show up well at night when illuminated. The enamelled aluminium D-rings for lead attachment are substantial. The strong padded handle runs fore and aft on top of the harness, and this is the main reason why I wanted to try this harness. Our older dog has always used a collar, but now occasionally needs some help or encouragement getting up again when he lies down in the course of a walk. Having a handle makes it easier for dog and owner to provide a little anti-gravity assistance. Unlike the strap on his cooling vest, though, this always ends up at the front of his chest, so the lift is concentrated under his front legs rather than the back ones. This is probably the same for all vest harnesses of this type. This is the largest size available. In use, it's a mixed bag. If he is walking in front, it's fine, but if you get ahead, the harness pulls forward onto his neck. There is little danger of it coming off, but it looks untidy. Dogs vary so much in size and shape that it's hard to say how well the different sizes will work on different breeds. It actually fits our smaller dog (shown in the photos), possibly somewhat better.The set includes a matching collar, mainly for security and as an alternative to the harness, and there are two cloth badges that attach to a Velcro patch on the harness. The matching lead is of a sensible length, and is of the non-stretching kind. The padded handle loop is finished with a plastic clip for some reason I can't fathom.Rywell No Pull Dog Harness Set.This is a good sturdy harness. It fits a large dog. It gives me confidence that it's sturdy enough to help control my dog, but I don't think any harness actually stops your dog pulling, if your dog pulls like mine do, but a good harness can help to some degree. It does have top hoop and lower hoop for using leads to controll head and still have control of body. It has a sturdy grab handle which is really helpful. Unfortunately it only undoes on waist and I prefer them to also undo around neck as sometime it's a struggle to get them over their heads. I do have big strong stubborn dogs, ideally I prefer harnesses to cover more of the dog, but it is a good harness. It comes with a collar which is handy. It also came with a lead that can be used as a waist lead or hand held, when hand held it is comfortable to hold. Unfortunately it doesn't have the anti stress elastication that helps reduce impact of pulling. it also has a couple of velcro patches, one says service dog and other says dog in training which is a sweet gimmick. I considered giving five stars but for the fact it doesn't undo around the neck. The attachment hoops look robust but the one on the top has less area to attach the lead than the bottom one. I like round attachment hoops other than the small angled ones as the rounder ones tend to be easier to attach lead to and that is always a good thing. Most harnesses nowadays are designed in a very similar manner, using similar products and this one is no exception to the rule.The material itself is soft to the touch, padded yet nice and breathable. The stitching appears high-quality, potentially reinforced so you won't have to worry about fraying anytime soon. A reflective material has been woven directly into the harness, aiding with visibility at night and in the early mornings.The harness can be adjusted in 4 different directions to ensure a comfortable and snug fit. Though perhaps the actual design means you will have some difficulty with barrel chested dogs. The buckles are made from a sturdy, thick plastic that I don't see snapping in a hurry. Whilst the D-rings, both in the front and in the back, are made from a coated metal.The traffic harness, which allows for extra control in those situations that demand it, is padded making it easier and more comfortable to hold. Especially if your dog is extra keen to get across a busy road and meet their friends.
