I would definitely recommend for post surgery. The material is stretchy and can easily e thrown in the washer and dryer. Would NOT recommend for incontinence. The best thing about the suit is the snaps on the back that make it easy to take on and off. It was a bit too large for my puppy , she was only about 3lbs at the time but I’m keeping it, she’ll grow into it.My girl recently was fixed and had a come on until the stiches healed. After day 2 of the cone I ordered this and it was a life safer. It stayed in place and she was unable to get to her stitches . I have since machine washed it and it held up well.The item worked perfect for my maltipoo's spay recovery. Nice cotton. a tiny bit big but I washed and dried so it fit great. Kept her from getting to her stitches.This fabric will last and wash.Liked the Kuoser Dog Recovery Suit which my female was very comfortable in. My only complaint is that no directions or washing instructions were included.I used this to keep my puppy away from her stitches after surgery. she is a miniature dachshund and this outfit worked perfectly.**My dog's measurements: neck 10", neck to tail: 15" (her spine is hunched over, too), and ribcage: 15".I bought her a size Small, and it's a great fit.**I have a 16 yr old Shih Tzu, who is blind and cannot go to the bathroom outside. We have pee pads for her to go on, but she somehow moves them around everywhere, and tends to get the carpet. As you can imagine, when she goes #2, it can get *very* messy. Emphasis on very.I decided to try diapers for the dog, but they're awkward and don't stay on well. I needed clothing of some sort to keep them in place, and found these. It's a stretchy fabric, and warm enough for the cool months. The flaps wrap around from underneath, come around the hips, and attach to the back. It makes it seemingly (so far) impossible for the diaper to come off on its own.She does have arthritis in her hips, and walks a little bowlegged in these, but seems to be okay.I haven't had issues with the "velcro" coming off on its own. My dog can't undo it either, because she has no teeth.My dog doesn't wear diapers all of the time, but when she does, this is a great way to keep them in place.Fits perfectly! The size chart was helpful.
