We foster dogs and usually they haven't had any kind of leash training so we've found slip leads to be a good place to start them off. We usually use these in our backyard where they can walk safely and get comfortable with the sensation of being on a leash. This lead is soft and easy to hold in your hands as you work with your dog. We ordered the bright greenish yellow color because it's easy to find when we're looking quickly for it in the mornings as we work on potty training. I love that this has a tab to help prevent your dog from choking themselves if they get nervous, because it helps build trust. It comes with a cute little velvet bag that you could store it in if you wanted to, and a little adhesive hook to make hanging it up easy. At only $10 for the whole thing, this is a steal. I will say that it's not very chew proof, as one of our puppies promptly started making chew marks on it, but it still seems to be holding up despite the fact that it's pretty soft. The value is definitely there though and I would recommend this as a great slip lead for your dogs.
