EVS Sports Race Collar - Neck Brace for Motocross, ATV & Dirt Bike Racing - Protective Gear for Off-Road Motorcycle Riding & Extreme Sports

I now have two track days wearing this brace. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a little more adjustment for chest size. I have a muscular chest and shoulders, a smaller rear link, or one more adjustment hole would make it perfect. I cannot use the under arm straps as they pull the brace into my throat, This doesn't seem to be problem, as it stays in place with out them. Adjusting the collar was very easy once I eliminated the underarm straps. Once adjusted, you only have to unbuckle the chest strap, open up the front of the collar and pull it over your head,As designed, this collar limits your neck movement, looking side to side and behind you is difficult if not impossible ( might be a result of big shoulders ?). It is comfortable once you become accustomed to it. In fact you will appreciate this lack of movement when you notice your neck is not sore after a long day at the MotoX track.Cleared a 40ft tabletop on dirt bike but landed sideways and went down hard on my left shoulder and left side of head (be careful when a jump has really deep ruts). Heard my clavicle snap and saw stars from head impact. Don’t know if the EVS R4K Saved my neck or not but glad I had it, you never know. Had neck muscle sprains on left side but that’s all. And my left clavicle broke, so the neck brace did not cause my clavicle to break (I’ve heard neck braces could cause the clavicle to break in the event of a crash). IF YOU’RE JUMPING, WEAR A NECK BRACE!!!love this brace using it with the evs sports roost deflector with the hook loops on the shoulder part. Free to move around you don’t even notice it’s there.Just got it. The set up was easy. Very comfortable. Overall great neck brace!Great for higher speed crashes, unlike a donut. Not so great for being rear ended or holding up your head in turns, but then I wanted a the higher level of protection over low speed protection. I can deal with a sore neck, but I can't deal with a serious injury (Then I couldn't race!!!)The collar is very light. It also has two options to don it. Both harnesses for the two options are included in the package.Awesome neck brace, high quality and durable. Looks awesome.A great affordable neck protector. My son wears this while riding, giving both of us a little more peace of mind. It's lightweight and comfortable, Who's to say it's really going to protect his neck in a crash?Can hardly feel it. Small tab ripped off bottom velcro....Looks good, feels good, my son likes it!
