The great thing about this leash is the multipurpose of it. I can use this for either of my dogs, our chihuahua mix or lab mix. With either one, it's great for walking. I can shorten or keep it as is, still training the lab. We were able to take them for car rides, separately and ensure they're safety by buckling them in with this leash. We don't really need to with the smaller one but with the big one, this makes it so much easier. Normally we have to hold her down as she likes to roam the car, but with this leash, we're able to keep her buckled in and she is starting to get the hint of sitting in the backseat. Easy to clean and easy to use. As for the buckling in, we snapped it in and tugged on it and there was no signs of it coming loose at all. Once it's clipped in, it only comes out when you push the release button.My dog is a pit bull mix and she pulls so much when I take her on walks. This leash is so nice and I noticed that I get less of a pull on my arm from her. It seems a lot sturdier than previous PetSmart/Mudbay leashes I’ve gotten her. The bungee portion is so so nice. The seatbelt buckle I know will come in handle in the car especially with her Husky BFF. She’s a sniffer and getting her to focus is much easier now. Definitely would recommend!Really well made for reasonable price. I like the seatbelt buckle before the bungee. (Works really well in my 2015 Hyundai Tucson) I like the secondary handle before the bungee. It helps me get better control of my puppy when he strays off the path. (I have a 9-mo old beagle who's about 25lb.) The only thing that kinda irks me is the elastic band that's supposed to hold down the seatbelt buckle when you're not using it. (It easily slips up the lead, so I wish it was tacked down at one point.) Also wish there were more choice in colors (only in Black or Orange when I purchased). Other than that, I think it was a very good purchase.Strong & stretchy for our 50 pound hound. Snaps into vehicle seatbelt.I bought this leash in Sept. 2020 and have used it daily since. It’s helped my dog refrain from pulling and the seatbelt clip is a great feature. Unfortunately the carabiner gate broke while I was walking my pup and he got loose. As you can see from the pictures the notch and gate won’t click anymore & constantly moves. My dog didn’t have to pull hard at all for the gate to open. It was a great product while it lasted.Leash is strong well built, great elastic, everything seemed great.But, the carabiner is spring loaded and not locking. The pictures are misleading, it looks like the carabiner that twists to lock, but there is not threading on the inside.I have only had the leash a few days and was walking my dog when he pulled the other direction and the clip rolled around on the harness, next thing I know the leash came unclipped. Fortunately for me the dog still had his harness on and didn't realize he was off leash!I am still using the leash, because I do like everything else, but I have now used gorilla tap to permanently close the carabiner sleeve over the clip part.Don’t hesitate this is a nice strong leash cheaper but seems to be more durable then the one I got from chewy hood but good price go for it ...-all about the leash the collar to me is just a throw in but it works as wellMy dog is Calm and a bit spacey but she’s always reactive to what’s going on! This is a good product for dogs with anxiety and also I would recommend using the max- strength on special days. Not necessarily every day
