After 125k miles, the original shocks were gone. Noisy impacts and side-steps on bumps in turns were common. The KYB shocks solved the wheel control problems while quieting and smoothing out the ride in the rear of the car. They made the rear of the car feel as though it came up off the road with better isolation through the new upper mounts. So much better! Next will be the KYB front struts to bring up the front feel and control the ride motions. I can't recommend these shocks with upper mounts enough. Don't forget new jounce bumpers and dust bellows.
