I purchased the orange collars after much searching. loved this collar's look upon arrival- and the quality of the actual collar itself seems to be holding up, but the glow in the dark stars have all started to peel off. The reflective stars are intact but the glow in the dark stars are like a vinyl which has pulled away from the collar all around it (not just one or two). For the price I do not think that should be the case after only two months of wear. This also changes the look of the collar and makes it appear shabby. Although I was very pleased initially, I am very disappointed in the overall quality.This is not a dog as the collar is marketed for, just a ginger cat who has some dog quirks himself. This is my *second* purchase of this exact collar. We went through 6 or so, and this is the clear winner ? by a big margin.My cat is indoor/outdoor, by his insistence (feral rescue) He is pretty adventurous and easily takes off/loses the safety easy release cat collars. This lovely collar i got him in XS Yellow has a metal buckle latch, so unless he grows opposable thumbs he will come home with it everytime. On to my favorite part- the stars on the collar. Two types- one glows in the dark and the other is reflective tape.The first one lasted us a year before it was so grungy and the stars were peeling off time to replace.My favorite color is purple, and I absolutely love stars, so I purchased this collar for my 5 lb. Papillon in size X-small. It fits her perfectly on the third hole in, and doesn’t seem to bother her, so must be relatively comfortable. I sometimes walk her off-leash late at night, and always put her collar on just in case anything should happen. The first night she wore this collar out, I was amazed at how clearly I could see the reflective & glow-in-the-dark stars, even through her long coat! The collar is definitely well-made and looks like it will hold up for her lifetime. Definitely pleased with my purchase!!Update: I've had these collars for almost a year and they're still holding up great (and still glowing)!I ordered one of these collars for my Chihuahua, and I loved it so much I got another one for my 90-pound mixed breed. The stars glow really well in the dark (especially when the dogs have been out in the sun awhile) and the other stars are very reflective. They seem very durable and well made.It is not easy finding a tiny collar with holes in it to change sizes...most you have to adjust by pulling the extra fabric though and that is very hard to do with my hands..I didnt even know it was reflective...but great at night when you puppy has to go outside!!Works well and is quite sturdy. Only negative comment I have is that I ordered purple and it looks more like blue.second collar that i have purchased from this seller. all leather and sturdy. very satisfied with both of the collars. my princess looks fantastic!!This was light weight and nice for my little puppy.
