Rhymefest.....this album is great. He's got a unique style, which can be funny, creative, and in your face...all at the same time. He has great story telling skills that reminisce some of those by Biggie and Nas. He actually reminds me a little of another underground legend...MURS. They share a similar voice and represent the average man, not a gangster or a high roller/baller. The average person will be able to relate to a lot of his rhymes. Plus, I also thought the artwork of the album inside was pretty unique, as it acts like a training manual for a new employee. This is fitting for the title, Blue Collar, and the manual also serves as a metaphore for the listener to be prepared for his album. All in all, this is a solid package and should be in the collection of any hip hop fan. Easily one of the best HIP HOP albums to come out this year.
